Dr. Jerry D. Tankersley is a distinguished dentist, educator, and military veteran with over three decades in dentistry. He earned his D.M.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1986 and served as a Clinical Professor there, winning Teacher of the Year in 2002. His diverse dental career spans private practice, correctional dentistry at maximum-security facilities including death row, and hospital dentistry. Currently he combines clinical excellence with leadership as a Part-Time Corrections Dentist at Wilkinson County Correctional Facility, in Woodville, MS.
